We are doing the thing in 2017…

Our first gig of 2017 is a big one.  We are supporting French shoegaze/black metal pioneers Alcest @ the lovely Rickshaw Theater along with The Body, and Creepers.  I don’t think I objectively played guitar or wrote songs the same after I heard Alcest for the first time.  I actually saw them at the Rickshaw in 2011 along with Junius and Enslaved (what a line up) and it was fantastic.  This is not an evening to be missed.  Saturday February 4th 2017 @ the Rickshaw Theatre.  Please mark it on your calendar.  A big thank you to Modified Ghost for booking the show and asking us to play.

If you’d prefer to not have to wait until 2017 to see us perform then consider joining us this Saturday.  We are playing with our friends Bog and Regrets at the historic Smilin Buddha Cabaret.  Fortunately it’s our drummer Drew’s birthday (as well as our buddy Sage from the Waning Light) unfortunately it’s Johnny Matter’s (vocalist from bog) last show with them.  It’ll be a night to remember.

Last but not least, our 2nd record “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Slums” was nominated for “Best Record” at the 2nd annual Whammy awards.  This is our 2nd nomination for such an award (last year we were nominated for Best Avant Garde band).  We lost last year and the pain is still present and stings like a bitch.  Let’s win this year:
